Hidden Strength is a unique mental health platform for young people aged 13-24. We provide accessible and immediate support in a safe, anonymous environment. Our app provides a secure interactive portal where young people can access qualified therapists for scheduled therapy and an extensive range of engaging and educational content to support their wellbeing. their mental well-being.
Social media has become a driving force in our daily lives. However, there exist few options available for mental health assistance. The Hidden Strength team consists of young people, understanding parents and professionals whose sole intention is to destigmatise psychological and physical health support and be here for the people who need us most – YOU

Our Mission

At Hidden Strength, our mission is to provide accessible and immediate support to young people who may be struggling with their mental health. We aim to equip young people with the tools to help and empower themselves, discover their hidden strengths, and become the heroes of their own stories.

Hidden Strength team shares a common goal: to support and bring positive change to young people. Every member plays a vital role, from administration and technical staff to marketing, content creation, and support. At the forefront are our Mental Health First Responders, who serve as the first point of contact on Life Ring, providing immediate support to young people reaching out to us. For those seeking therapy, our clinical team consists of dedicated mental health professionals committed to helping children and young people navigate mental health challenges. Guided by our Mental Health Lead, the team operates as part of a diverse multidisciplinary group, including qualified therapists, practitioners, and safeguarding leads.

Linsey Lunny

Founder & CEO
Linsey started her first business in 2005 in children’s nurseries and preschools. Linsey sold the business in 2017 to a Private Equity firm. Having had her own mental health struggles she wanted to create something relevant that doesn’t just talk at young people, but understands the world they live in.

Chief Technology Officer
Chris was founder and CEO of Trigger Software, later acquired by SAS Global Communications. Chris founded Procedure with a core mission to focus all his expertise and passion into products that can make a significant difference to people’s lives. Previous, ground breaking, projects include the ecommerce platform for Superdry PLC, complex trading platforms in the utilities sector (GE, British Energy, National Grid), and systems that over 300 hospitals in the UK (NHS, Nuffield Health, BMI Healthcare, Spire Healthcare) rely on every day to deliver critical services for patients.

Jai Taylor

Digital Marketing Advisor
With a diverse background in design, marketing, software development, and sports engagement. Previously having worked closely with renowned organisations like the England Cricket Board and the victorious England Rugby team, catering to the well-being of high-level athletes. He has since ran a successful digital design and marketing agency spanning 17 years. As an FA qualified coach he actively nurtures two teams, prioritising the safeguarding and mental health of young adults.
